GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Fishing in a village tank by lessees of a village fishery under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Development Officer, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of a village fishery carrying on fishing in a village tank shall furnish Form 4 to the Block Development Officer within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of a village fishery carrying on fishing in a village tank shall make an application in Form 4 to the Block Development Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which fishing in a village tank is undertaken, and the Block Development Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
