GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of a gurdwara by committees of a gurdwara under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Waqf Officer, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every committee of a gurdwara carrying on the management of a gurdwara shall furnish Form B to the Commissioner of Endowments within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every committee of a gurdwara carrying on the management of a gurdwara shall make an application in Form B to the Commissioner of Endowments within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a gurdwara is undertaken, and the Commissioner of Endowments shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Rajasthan.
