ORDER

Subject: The conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use by person converting agricultural lands under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Accountant, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person converting agricultural land carrying on the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use shall furnish Form 7 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person converting agricultural land carrying on the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use shall make an application in Form 7 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
