GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The taking of a mortgage of agricultural land by mortgagees of agricultural land under the Odisha Survey and Settlement Act, 1959, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Naib Tahsildar, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every mortgagee of agricultural land carrying on the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land shall furnish Form 14 to the State Government within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every mortgagee of agricultural land carrying on the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land shall make an application in Form 14 to the State Government within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Odisha.
