GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The practice of medicine by registered medical practitioners under the Tamil Nadu Private Clinical Establishments (Regulation) Act, 1997, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every registered medical practitioner carrying on the practice of medicine shall furnish Form 20 to the Drugs Controller within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every registered medical practitioner carrying on the practice of medicine shall make an application in Form 20 to the Drugs Controller within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the practice of medicine is undertaken, and the Drugs Controller shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
