GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of land by landholders under the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act, 1953, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Surveyor, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall furnish Form 1 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Punjab.
