New Delhi, dated the 25th August, 2010

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The cultivation of land as a sharecropper by sharecroppers under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Naib Tahsildar, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every sharecropper carrying on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper shall furnish Form 12 to the Board of Revenue within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sharecropper carrying on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper shall make an application in Form 12 to the Board of Revenue within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as a sharecropper is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
