GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The use of a transport vehicle by permit holders under the Karnataka Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1957, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Transport Commissioner, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every permit holder carrying on the use of a transport vehicle shall furnish Form 30 to the State Transport Appellate Tribunal within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every permit holder carrying on the use of a transport vehicle shall make an application in Form 30 to the State Transport Appellate Tribunal within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of a transport vehicle is undertaken, and the State Transport Appellate Tribunal shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Karnataka.
