GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The sponsoring of contract farming by contract farming sponsors under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Plant Protection Officer, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contract farming sponsor carrying on the sponsoring of contract farming shall furnish Form A to the Insecticides Board within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every contract farming sponsor carrying on the sponsoring of contract farming shall make an application in Form A to the Insecticides Board within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sponsoring of contract farming is undertaken, and the Insecticides Board shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Punjab.
