GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The distribution of natural gas by city gas distribution entities under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspecting Officer, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every city gas distribution entity carrying on the distribution of natural gas shall furnish Form II to the Chief Electrical Inspector within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every city gas distribution entity carrying on the distribution of natural gas shall make an application in Form II to the Chief Electrical Inspector within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the distribution of natural gas is undertaken, and the Chief Electrical Inspector shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Gujarat.
