GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The retail vend of liquor by retail vendors under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Excise, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every retail vendor carrying on the retail vend of liquor shall furnish Form G to the Licensing Authority within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every retail vendor carrying on the retail vend of liquor shall make an application in Form G to the Licensing Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the retail vend of liquor is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
