GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sponsoring of contract farming by contract farming sponsors under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Fertiliser Inspector, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contract farming sponsor carrying on the sponsoring of contract farming shall furnish Form E to the Registrar within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contract farming sponsor carrying on the sponsoring of contract farming shall make an application in Form E to the Registrar within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sponsoring of contract farming is undertaken, and the Registrar shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Kerala.
