GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of property on behalf of an owner by property managers under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Housing Commissioner, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every property manager carrying on the management of property on behalf of an owner shall furnish Form B to the Rent Controller within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every property manager carrying on the management of property on behalf of an owner shall make an application in Form B to the Rent Controller within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of property on behalf of an owner is undertaken, and the Rent Controller shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
