GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The recycling of ships by ship recyclers under the Gujarat Maritime Board Act, 1981, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Port Officer, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every ship recycler carrying on the recycling of ships shall furnish Form 6 to the Inland Waterways Authority within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every ship recycler carrying on the recycling of ships shall make an application in Form 6 to the Inland Waterways Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the recycling of ships is undertaken, and the Inland Waterways Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Gujarat.
