GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The leasing of a village tank by lessees of a village tank under the Maharashtra Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1962, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Gram Sevak, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of a village tank carrying on the leasing of a village tank shall furnish Form 6 to the Gram Sabha within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of a village tank carrying on the leasing of a village tank shall make an application in Form 6 to the Gram Sabha within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the leasing of a village tank is undertaken, and the Gram Sabha shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Maharashtra.
