GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The keeping of a shop in a village market by shopkeepers in a village market under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Block Development Officer, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every shopkeeper in a village market carrying on the keeping of a shop in a village market shall furnish Form 8 to the Zila Parishad within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every shopkeeper in a village market carrying on the keeping of a shop in a village market shall make an application in Form 8 to the Zila Parishad within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of a shop in a village market is undertaken, and the Zila Parishad shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Rajasthan.
