Amaravati, dated the 12th June, 2009

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The imparting of education by electronic means by operators of an online education platform under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector of Schools, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of an online education platform carrying on the imparting of education by electronic means shall furnish Form C to the Council within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of an online education platform carrying on the imparting of education by electronic means shall make an application in Form C to the Council within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the imparting of education by electronic means is undertaken, and the Council shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
