GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The collection of biological resources by collectors of biological resources under the Karnataka Forest Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Scientific Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every collector of biological resources carrying on the collection of biological resources shall furnish Form II to the Divisional Forest Officer within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every collector of biological resources carrying on the collection of biological resources shall make an application in Form II to the Divisional Forest Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the collection of biological resources is undertaken, and the Divisional Forest Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
