GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Odisha Land Reforms Act, 1960, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall furnish Form 7 to the Settlement Officer within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 7 to the Settlement Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Settlement Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Odisha.
