GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The fire safety of a place of public assembly by owners of a place of public assembly under the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2007, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Collector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a place of public assembly carrying on the fire safety of a place of public assembly shall furnish Form F to the District Authority within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a place of public assembly carrying on the fire safety of a place of public assembly shall make an application in Form F to the District Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the fire safety of a place of public assembly is undertaken, and the District Authority shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Maharashtra.
