GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The operation of a firing range by licensees of a firing range under the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Defence Estates Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a firing range carrying on the operation of a firing range shall furnish Form G to the Director-General within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a firing range carrying on the operation of a firing range shall make an application in Form G to the Director-General within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a firing range is undertaken, and the Director-General shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Maharashtra.
