GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The transport of food by transporters of food under the Maharashtra Animal Preservation Act, 1977, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Designated Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every transporter of food carrying on the transport of food shall furnish Form B to the Referral Laboratory within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every transporter of food carrying on the transport of food shall make an application in Form B to the Referral Laboratory within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of seven thousand five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the transport of food is undertaken, and the Referral Laboratory shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Maharashtra.
