GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The supply of electricity by licensees under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspecting Officer, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee carrying on the supply of electricity shall furnish Form VI to the State Commission within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee carrying on the supply of electricity shall make an application in Form VI to the State Commission within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the supply of electricity is undertaken, and the State Commission shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Gujarat.
