GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The distribution of films by distributors of films under the Karnataka Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Press Registrar, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every distributor of films carrying on the distribution of films shall furnish Form V to the Advisory Panel within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every distributor of films carrying on the distribution of films shall make an application in Form V to the Advisory Panel within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the distribution of films is undertaken, and the Advisory Panel shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
