GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The working of a brick kiln in a village by owners of a brick kiln in a village under the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Extension Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a brick kiln in a village carrying on the working of a brick kiln in a village shall furnish Form 5 to the District Panchayat within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a brick kiln in a village carrying on the working of a brick kiln in a village shall make an application in Form 5 to the District Panchayat within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a brick kiln in a village is undertaken, and the District Panchayat shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Kerala.
