GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The running of a cinema by owners of a cinema under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Press Registrar, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a cinema carrying on the running of a cinema shall furnish Form VIII to the Broadcasting Authority within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a cinema carrying on the running of a cinema shall make an application in Form VIII to the Broadcasting Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a cinema is undertaken, and the Broadcasting Authority shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
