GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The discharge of effluent by persons carrying on an industry under the Karnataka Forest Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Forest Guard, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person carrying on an industry carrying on the discharge of effluent shall furnish Form III to the Central Board within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person carrying on an industry carrying on the discharge of effluent shall make an application in Form III to the Central Board within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the discharge of effluent is undertaken, and the Central Board shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka.
