GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The practice of Indian medicine by practitioners of Indian medicine under the Maharashtra Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1949, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Drugs Inspector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every practitioner of Indian medicine carrying on the practice of Indian medicine shall furnish Form 25 to the Government of Maharashtra within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every practitioner of Indian medicine carrying on the practice of Indian medicine shall make an application in Form 25 to the Government of Maharashtra within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the practice of Indian medicine is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra.
