GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The keeping of a cattle pound by owners of a cattle pound under the Karnataka Gram Swaraj and Panchayat Raj Act, 1993, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Block Development Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a cattle pound carrying on the keeping of a cattle pound shall furnish Form 2 to the District Collector within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a cattle pound carrying on the keeping of a cattle pound shall make an application in Form 2 to the District Collector within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of a cattle pound is undertaken, and the District Collector shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Karnataka.
