GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a common service centre by operators of a common service centre under the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Secretary of the Gram Panchayat, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a common service centre carrying on the running of a common service centre shall furnish Form 7 to the Panchayat Samiti within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a common service centre carrying on the running of a common service centre shall make an application in Form 7 to the Panchayat Samiti within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a common service centre is undertaken, and the Panchayat Samiti shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
