GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The employment of building workers by employers of building workers under the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1962, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Facilitator, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every employer of building workers carrying on the employment of building workers shall furnish Form V to the Industrial Tribunal within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every employer of building workers carrying on the employment of building workers shall make an application in Form V to the Industrial Tribunal within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the employment of building workers is undertaken, and the Industrial Tribunal shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka.
