GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The service of process by process servers under the Bombay Court Fees Act, 1959, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Registrar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every process server carrying on the service of process shall furnish Form E to the High Court within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every process server carrying on the service of process shall make an application in Form E to the High Court within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the service of process is undertaken, and the High Court shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Maharashtra.
