GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The running of a shooting range by proprietors of a shooting range under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every proprietor of a shooting range carrying on the running of a shooting range shall furnish Form VIII to the Licensing Authority within ten days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every proprietor of a shooting range carrying on the running of a shooting range shall make an application in Form VIII to the Licensing Authority within ten days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a shooting range is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within ten days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Maharashtra.
