GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building by owners of a high-rise building under the Karnataka Fire Force Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Relief Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a high-rise building carrying on the maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building shall furnish Form E to the State Authority within one day.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a high-rise building carrying on the maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building shall make an application in Form E to the State Authority within one day, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building is undertaken, and the State Authority shall dispose of it within one day of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Karnataka.
