GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a captive generating plant by captive generating plant owners under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Electrical Inspector, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every captive generating plant owner carrying on the operation of a captive generating plant shall furnish Form V to the Chief Electrical Inspector within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every captive generating plant owner carrying on the operation of a captive generating plant shall make an application in Form V to the Chief Electrical Inspector within seven days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a captive generating plant is undertaken, and the Chief Electrical Inspector shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat.
