GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The cultivation of land by farmers under the Karnataka Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation and Development) Act, 1966, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Plant Protection Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every farmer carrying on the cultivation of land shall furnish Form B to the Registrar within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every farmer carrying on the cultivation of land shall make an application in Form B to the Registrar within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land is undertaken, and the Registrar shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Karnataka.
