GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The culture of fish by fish farmers under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every fish farmer carrying on the culture of fish shall furnish Form C to the Market Committee within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every fish farmer carrying on the culture of fish shall make an application in Form C to the Market Committee within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the culture of fish is undertaken, and the Market Committee shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Punjab.
