GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Gujarat Agricultural Lands Ceiling Act, 1961, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall furnish Form 7 to the Tahsildar within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Tahsildar within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Gujarat.
