GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The running of a cold storage by operators of a cold storage under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Seed Inspector, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a cold storage carrying on the running of a cold storage shall furnish Form F to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a cold storage carrying on the running of a cold storage shall make an application in Form F to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a cold storage is undertaken, and the Registrar of Co-operative Societies shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Punjab.
