ORDER

Subject: The possession of land by persons in possession of land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall furnish Form 1 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the possession of land is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
