GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The working of a brewery by brewers under the West Bengal Excise Act, 1909, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Commissioner of Excise, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every brewer carrying on the working of a brewery shall furnish Form C to the Government of West Bengal within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every brewer carrying on the working of a brewery shall make an application in Form C to the Government of West Bengal within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a brewery is undertaken, and the Government of West Bengal shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of West Bengal.
