GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The sale of excisable articles by licensees under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Excise, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee carrying on the sale of excisable articles shall furnish Form D to the Government of Maharashtra within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee carrying on the sale of excisable articles shall make an application in Form D to the Government of Maharashtra within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of excisable articles is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Excise Department, Government of Maharashtra.
