GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a ferry by operators of a ferry under the Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Executive Engineer, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a ferry carrying on the operation of a ferry shall furnish Form H to the River Basin Authority within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a ferry carrying on the operation of a ferry shall make an application in Form H to the River Basin Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a ferry is undertaken, and the River Basin Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Rajasthan.
