GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land under the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act, 1953, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Patwari, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall furnish Form 5 to the Land Tribunal within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall make an application in Form 5 to the Land Tribunal within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sinking of a well on Government land is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Punjab.
