Mumbai, dated the 13th October, 2025

GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The running of a school by schools under the Maharashtra State Commission for Women Act, 1993, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Protection Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every school carrying on the running of a school shall furnish Form II to the Commission within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every school carrying on the running of a school shall make an application in Form II to the Commission within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a school is undertaken, and the Commission shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Maharashtra.
