GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The cultivation of land as tenant by tenants under the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Puducherry, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall furnish Form 7 to the Collector within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 7 to the Collector within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as tenant is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Puducherry.
