GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The execution of instruments by person executing an instruments under the Maharashtra Stamp Act, 1958, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Collector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person executing an instrument carrying on the execution of instruments shall furnish Form A to the Collector within one month.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person executing an instrument carrying on the execution of instruments shall make an application in Form A to the Collector within one month, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of instruments is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within one month of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Maharashtra.
