GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a hostel by hostels under the Karnataka Education Act, 1995, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every hostel carrying on the running of a hostel shall furnish Form C to the Council within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every hostel carrying on the running of a hostel shall make an application in Form C to the Council within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a hostel is undertaken, and the Council shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Karnataka.
