GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The running of a hostel by hostels for students of Scheduled Castes under the Maharashtra State Reservation for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes Act, 2018, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Commissioner, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every hostel for students of Scheduled Castes carrying on the running of a hostel shall furnish Form II to the Government of Maharashtra within ninety days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every hostel for students of Scheduled Castes carrying on the running of a hostel shall make an application in Form II to the Government of Maharashtra within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a hostel is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Maharashtra.
