In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024 (Uttarakhand Act 3 of 2024), the Government of Uttarakhand hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under section 9 shall, subject to its control, also be exercisable by the Marriage Officer.
